Short Term Mission Trips To Romania

Romania VBS- Outreach, October, 15-26, 2026

Team member fee is only $2785 and includes Round Trip airfare, most of your meals, all ground transportation, hotel and host lodging, admission to sightseeing attractions such as Palace of the Parliament, the Black Sea and Dracula's Castle, as well as some of the VBS materials and building materials related to the project.  Your team will assist much-needed indoor and projects for a Local Church Cimmunity Center in Lisa and a church in Rosioril de Vida, that produces career projects to keep teens from falling victime to sex trafficking. We will also be hosting a VBS at one church. This will be the time of your Life!

Team Member fee is just $2785 USD. COMMIT Ministries International is partnering with two of the local churches in order to help them provide a desperately-needed community center to serve secen communities in the area near Lisa.

The other project involves trim work and minor construction at a carefully-conceived project with a church in Roliril de Vida to train Gypsy/Roma teens in a new profession to keep them from being recruited by druglords and sold into the sex trade. We'll also attend a wedding for one of our partner families. We may also work with a local church near Rosiori de Vida to assist the church with their food outreach and food preparation, while actively singing, playing soccer, and sharing the Good News with the community through VBS. No experience is needed! 

This is a great opportunity to show the love of Jesus getting actively involved in the life of a rural community who desperately need to know that Jesus loves them. What a great way to truly grow your faith. This trip will give you a new perspective over the Balkan church culture and will definitely change your life!

After these few days spent in immersion ministry, you will have the opportunity to do a little tour of Romania starting in Brasov arewa in Transylvania - the extremely beautiful mountain side of Romania, where you will visit Dracula's Castle known by the locasls as the Bran Castle from the novel of Bram Stoker, and then possibly to Constanta at the Black Sea shore and then to Bucharest where you will spend your last day visiting the House of Parliament, the largest building ever buitl by the former Romanian communist leader - Ceausescu.

Your $2785.00 trip fee also includes Round Trip airfare, host and hotel lodging, most of your meals, ground transportation, medicines for the outreach, and some of the materials related to the project. Additional costs to the team member include a passport with more than 6 months validity, daily fluids (water, soda, etc), tourist visa for some (other than North American citizens), and any spending money. We recommend bringing $200-350 additional.
Training debriefing
Pre-field materials are provided to team members shortly after their registration and must be completed prior to departure. The team will debrief before returning home.
